Miles Kay

Miles is absolutely awesome! And here’s why…

Miles Kay

“Talented beyond his years, adaptable, reliable, hardworking, kind, generous, spirit-filled and integral to the production of all of our live events this term - it’s been an absolute honour to have miles on our team!

He has been a crucial part of our media team, particular in all areas of live production! He’s incredibly versatile, and has been able to oversee multiple areas of technical responsibility, handling both cameras and audio recording / streaming, as well as in-house AV. Everything he has been given oversight over he has absolutely smashed!!!

But ultimately, it is his devotion to Christ that I find most inspiring! He is a man pursuing the heart of God, uplifting those around him to follow the same call and his integrity and devotion continues to challenge me to live up to the call on my own life. Miles you’re the absolute best, love you bro!”

- Karim Stoddart, Media Co-Ordinator & Student Team Lead.

  • Miles first introduction to CAMPUS saw him assisting on both the recording and editing for the CAMPUS Podcast’s soon to be released Season 4, as well as featuring as a special guest on two of the episodes himself!

This is the perfect example of Miles versatility, being both a specialist in overseeing the live production of the event, and providing wisdom, insight and humour in front of the camera. He is especially gifted in hearing from God and this flows out into every area of service he finds himself in, and makes it so easy for him to find a way to flourish in different situations!

You can find a photo recap of our recording day here, and keep your eyes peeled for Season 4 dropping in September!!

  • The New Kind Of Kingdom Sessions (NKK) aim to inspire and equip students during their transition out of university, giving them a space to hear from Christian professionals working in different spheres, ask questions and explore their personal purpose in God’s Kingdom post-graduation.

Miles oversaw the Multicam Live Streaming and recording of the event, the in-house sound and even handled a last minute zoom component as a result of Ralph Pedley being unable to attend due to covid. His ability to operate under pressure, find solutions in the moment, and ensure a brilliant outcome is a testament to his growing experience and talent and we can see him developing into an amazing project leader.

  • We hosted a live stream interview with Ira Jackson Jr, footballer and author of the book “What Is A Man?” to explore a Godly perspective on masculinity in the 21st century.

Miles was crucial in the quick turn around for streaming the live interview, after finding out his availability last minute. He was quick to react to technical difficulties and oversaw the delivery of the private event whilst managing online attendees and communication. Without him we wouldn’t have been able to pull it off!

  • Miles was also part of the capture team for One Name On Campus, a unified pray and worship night followed by 24 hours of prayer in Manchester. The night was absolutely amazing!! You can check out the highlights on their instagram.
